Add Your RSS Feed To Your Sidebar
Rather than search out a WordPress plugin to display your RSS Feed icon in your sidebar this video shows how to simply use a Text Widget to allow your visitors
to access your RSS feed via your sidebar.
You are going to need the following:
1) A RSS Icon – do a search in Google for “free RSS feed icon” – you’ll find plenty to choose from. Check any licencing requirements before use.
2) The url of the RSS feed for your site (the video shows how to find this.
3) You can write the required HTML yourself or simply use my EasyHyperLinks site.
4) You may want to use Feedburner to improve the quality of your RSS feed.
Here we go – this is how to add your RSS feed icon to a widget in your sidebar:

You’re very welcome. Let us know how you get on AND if you don’t use Feedburner & decide to, whether a video showing that being set up would be useful.
