How To Get Viral Exposure, Drive Traffic To Your Site And Get The Opt-In
Jul 13 2011 in All by Wizzer
Isn’t that the catchiest title you’ve ever read? Well I should have added SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and Automatic Social Signals but I felt that would have been just a little too much!
Whatever business you are in, driving relevant, high quality traffic to your site is absolutely the most important thing you can do. Without traffic, without buzz about your site, there is, frankly, no business. But it all takes time and effort unless you can recruit thousands of people to help you with this critical part of your business. But you are about to learn how all of this can be done for you automatically.
Driving Traffic, Viral Exposure, Opt-ins & SEO Using Automatic Social Signals is so vital to your sites I can’t emphasis too much how important this is to your business and how much I recommend you register for this free webinar. In case you don’t already know that’s an online seminar you watch/listen to at your computer.
The brilliant thing about this particular webinar is that it runs 3 times a day – 6 times a week so there is bound to be a time convenient for you.
You can register for the webinar by clicking this link
One of the major changes (in fact a Mega Shift!) that has recently taken place with the search engines (especially Google) is the way they now look at Social Signals as a MAJOR ranking factor.
Not only is Google watching signals from Twitter, they are looking at a wide variety of social network signals as an indicator. They even created their own social signal called Google Plus One (+1). You can see it at the top and bottom of the posts on this site.
This webinar is all about Driving Traffic, Viral Exposure, Opt-ins & SEO Using Automatic Social Signals. You DO NOT want to miss this. PLUS you can get access to a free version of the brilliant automation software I use at Fast Home Business Success to get massive exposure for all of your content.
So unless you have no interest in driving traffic to your business, getting viral exposure to minimise your ongoing work, getting opt-ins to your subscriber list & SEO benefits as a result, you really should register for the earliest webinar you can attend…

I signed up. I hope they supply popcorn…

Not everyone is as free & easy with their popcorn as me you know
Let us know what you think (not about the lack of snacks!) – I’ll be very interested to hear your opinion. I use the full SYNND program – it can have some very fast results for the right content.

It took a bit. Even three times a day seemed to clash here for a few days. But…. success.
I agree with social media being the new “in”. And backlinks not holding the same weight, which works for me. Backlinks seem to be one of those really “yawn” parts of blogging and websites.
How I’m interested in your opinion on comments. I know they say they are good but my one site in particular gets spammed so bad. I’ve had comments shut on and off (backyard) and that seems to help calm the flow a bit.
I did sign up and hope to look over all the info tomorrow. Thew heat and humidity is so high here – computer work seems to be the only safe thing to do.
Do you use the free version?

I tend to agree about the time difference issue. Even when something is scheduled early in the US I normally find it clashes with me needing to be somewhere as a “taxi” for the kids. For you Jan, it must be even more difficult, especially UK to Australia time. That’s part of the reason I prefer video you can watch at a time to suit you although you don’t get the benefit of personal involvement (Q&A) at the time.
I have a great deal to say about comments! First off, spam and those really annoying “bot” comments drive me nuts. You know “I found your site and I agree with everything you say. I will definitely be back”. My spam filter catches most but genuine comments can get caught up so have to be carefully and do more than just hit the trash button.
I’m convinced that when a good dialogue gets going on a site it perpetuates the visits and further comments. However there is a big issue of time. I find I get involved at a site for a while, commenting and responding to comments (and it does lead to a spike in visits to my sites) but eventually I don’t have the time to keep it up when life takes over. In particular if I get busy answering questions / comments at my own sites and in forums I don’t have time to spend on other people’s sites too.
A site totally comes alive though, if you develop an enthusiastic following of people who love to get involved and ask and answer questions. That benefits everyone too. Many sites have “do follow” comments which helps with the backlink building but more importantly, if you make sensible comments other site visitors are inquisitive and want to see what else you have to say at your own site resulting in more traffic that is typically quite well targeted.
With regard to Synnd, I have used the paid version for some time now – in fact since shortly after Help My Blog closed down. It’s really good for automated backlinks, social media exposure and comments – all virtually automatic. If you put up an interesting post that provides information or is controversial etc it can easily go viral after the initial automated exposure gets it noticed elsewhere. The free version just limits the number of campaigns you can run I believe so it should work just as well.

Well luckily for me my furry kids never want to go anywhere! Not even a trip to the vets.
I have bookmarked a PDF of SYNND so will have a good look at it on the weekend – I was up until 1 am last night redoing my site so this night plan to have an early one! There’s only so much that coffee can do on a working day.
I know what you mean about commenting on other sites, sometimes you get so wrapped up in the community you forget your own site!! So you do have to watch it. Since I put WP-Spam Free on my site it has stopped the spam dead so I am very impressed with it. I also realise that I answered a few spam comments when I first started! But you live and learn.

I remember some of those first comments. I too was really pleased somebody had found me only to realise later I was probably conversing with a bit of junk software1

Hmm, how do I find a time for Brisvegas??
Wizzer said on July 19, 2011
Is that Brisbane? Talk to Diana & DEnise – they know all about 36 hour days!!!
Denise Grant said on July 21, 2011
I absolutely refuse to do 36 hour days anymore. I cut the line at 35. (unless I steal someones hours – but that doesn’t count)
jan said on July 21, 2011
Wow, in Australia we only have 24 hours in a day, it must be great to have longer days to fit everything in.
Brisvegas is a tongue in cheek reference to our quaint city which isn’t quite as “with it” as say Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, London etc! But that is also part of its charm.
Wizzer said on July 21, 2011
I’d never heard the term “Brisvegas” before but Google has it referenced all over. We passed through Brisbane Airport on our way from Sydney to Townsville many years ago but I can’t say I remember much about it I’m afraid. Certainly not as glitzy as Las Vegas strip!!!
Diana Strittmatter said on July 30, 2011
I am down to 34 hour days so you can’t steal from me Denise!
jan said on July 19, 2011
I meant in terms of time zones! Say 1pm there would be 8 pm here type of thing!!
Denise Grant said on July 21, 2011
Somewhere online is a site that works the time change out for you for your area and whatever area you’re looking for. I used to use it a lot.
Try this one http://www.worldtimezone.com/

Thanks Denise, I know that site it is excellent, we use it at work for when we have to make overseas phone calls but I’m not too sure where in the states the webinar is on? Does anybody know?
Denise said on July 21, 2011
I am in utc 5 zone, east coast US. if its 12 noon here its 2 am for you. (14 hour difference) And the webinar functions on my time.
jan said on July 22, 2011
Excellent, many thanks Denise – I will see if I can work out a time! I may be able to listen in on a Saturday. They don’t say that we are “down under” for nothing!!
Denise said on July 22, 2011
I just remembered. They send you a 24 hour chance to re-watch the video if you miss it. So, just sign up for a time and if it doesn’t fit in, watch it at your convenience.

Better and better thanks!
